Get to Know Weed Man

The Weed Man Billings, MT team lives and works in the communities that we serve. Offering quality service is our main goal for our customers and neighbors. Meet your Billings, MT Weed Man team of lawn specialists who are professionally trained to manage all of your lawn care needs. We're happy to introduce ourselves!

Beth | Owner of Weed Man Billings

Beth was born and raised in Lewistown and moved to Billings in 2003 to attend Montana State University-Billings, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services. Before starting Weed Man, Beth worked at Billings Federal Credit Union for over seven years. In 2016, she and her husband Tyler launched Weed Man Billings. For a while, she was finishing up her workday at the credit union and heading straight into evenings with Weed Man - doing whatever it took to help grow the business from the ground up.

Beth is in the office every day, working right alongside the team. She's passionate about making a difference - whether it's helping one person or strengthening the community as a whole. She currently serves on the board for Bright and Beautiful.

Outside of work, Beth loves camping, boating, escaping to warmer climates, reading a good book, and relaxing with their two Boston Terriers.

TYLER | owner

Born in Billings, Tyler has also lived in Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota before moving back in 2005. Before starting Weed Man Billings, he spent 10 years running his own Matco Tools truck. In 2016, he and his wife Beth started Weed Man Billings after Tyler saw a need for quality lawn care while working on his own yard.

They started by knocking on doors themselves and grew the business one customer and one lawn at a time. Tyler is still in the office every day, helping the business grow while supporting the team and making sure customers get the best service possible. He's passionate about building a workplace where people enjoy showing up and have room to grow.

Outside of work, you'll find Tyler playing hockey, flying planes, visiting local breweries, or hiking with Beth and their two Boston Terriers. He also used to keep bees - ask him anything about bees!

kent | general manager

Originally from Oregon, Kent has been a proud Billings resident for the past 14 years. Kent oversees the smooth operation of all things Weed Man Billings, ensuring that every aspect of our service exceeds your expectations. For Kent, success means seeing our team thrive and delivering exceptional experiences for our valued customers. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his family, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and hitting the golf course.

Tom | human resources

I am a Billings native and I started working at Weed Man in 2021. I love the culture here at Weed Man. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, hanging out with my dogs and traveling.

angel | digital & Marketing coordinator

I was born and raised right here in Montana. I started at Weed Man in 2021 as a Customer Service Representative. In my spare time, I enjoy climbing mountains, visiting local breweries, buying more houseplants and hanging out with my two dogs.

aja | CUSTOMER experience supervisor

I was born and raised right here in Billings. I started at Weed Man in April of 2022 as a Customer Service Representative. Since then, I have branched out and started working in the sales dept. I love being a part of the Weed Man family, I have the best co-workers and all the customers are amazing! In my spare time, you can find me hiking and adventuring all over Montana with my two dogs.

casey | customer service representative

Casey was born in Washington, D.C., and has lived in Billings for the past 20 years. He joined Weed Man in May 2025 and quickly became known for his great sense of humor and commitment to helping customers. Casey is a husband and a father. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, collecting trading cards, and is a big fan of Lord of the Rings.

I’m originally from Ohio, but lived in Arizona for ten years before I relocated to Billings three years ago. I started at Weed Man in 2023 as a Customer Service Representative. When I’m not hanging out with my husband, two daughters, two dogs and three ferrets, you can find me you reading a good book and cheering on the Detroit Lions.

Jay | sales and marketing supervisor

Jay is a Montana native who spent 10 years in Hawaii chasing his passion for scuba diving. He moved back to be closer to family and joined Weed Man in the spring of 2022. He started out working on lawns and now helps out in the office. When he’s not at work, you’ll probably find him with family or relaxing by the river.

Jacob | service advisor

Jacob joined our team in 2024 as a service advisor who values building genuine connections and adding a personal touch. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor adventures and finds inspiration in his hardworking wife and the positive feedback we receive from our customers—qualities that make him an incredible asset to Weed Man

dane | service advisor

Dane is from Shepherd and he has been with us since April of 2025. Dane loves helping people with any questions they may have and using her background to best help assist them. Outside of Work, you can find Dane going for walks or standing in the snow at a Bobcat game.

dave | quality control specialist

David is a Montana native who’s traveled the world more than once—but Montana will always be home. He joined our team in June 2025. Outside of work, David enjoys diving into functional CAD for 3D printing and playing a wide variety of survival, manufacturing, and logistics-based video games.

kody | senior TECHNICIAN

Kody joined Weed Man in March 2024 and has been a valuable, self-motivated member of our team ever since, known for his precision and excellent customer communication. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, shed hunting, and spending time in the mountains.

payton | LAWN TECHNICIAN

Payton is originally from Greybull, Wyoming. He moved to Montana in 2023 when he joined our team as a lawn technician. When Payton isn’t making your lawn beautiful, you can find him fishing or playing golf.

michael | LAWN TECHNICIAN

Michael joined Weed Man Billings in spring 2024 after moving from Syracuse, NY, and he’s been a solid part of our team ever since. He’s great at spotting lawn issues—especially sod web worms—and says he’d choose Weed Man to have the healthiest lawn in town. When he’s not working, you’ll find him fishing, hanging out with his brothers, or relaxing with his dog.

tate | LAWN TECHNICIAN

Tate, a Billings local, joined Weed Man in 2023 and brings a strong work ethic and laid-back attitude to every lawn he treats. He’s easy to talk to and always ready to help. When he’s not working, he’s hanging with his son, fishing, gaming, or enjoying some mac and cheese or pizza.

aiden | LAWN TECHNICIAN

A Montana native, Aiden’s love for lawn care started with his first mow. He’s known for his positive attitude, teamwork, and tackling any challenge. Off the clock, he enjoys hanging out with family, football, mountain biking, and good BBQ.
