Did you know that 1 in 8 households in the United States are currently facing food insecurity? That means that many families in our community do not have sufficient access to quality food and other basic needs. At Weed Man, we’re proud to be locally owned and operated right here in Billings, and we strive to make a difference for people in need – right in our own backyard! That’s why we want to invite our customers to participate in our 2024 fall food drive: Grassroots Giving!

What to Donate

From October 7 to October 18, 2024, we’re partnering with Tumbleweed Food Pantry to collect donations of the following items:

• Easy open/microwave ready/single-serve meals

• Pasta and sauces

• Canned fruit

• Canned chili and soup, noodle cups

• Bottled Water

• Granola bars/trail mix/snack packs

• Canned tuna or chicken

• Spam

• Vienna sausages

• Cereal

• Jelly

• Peanut butter

• Oatmeal

• Spaghetti Sauce and noodle

• Chicken Nuggets

• Hot pockets

• Pot Pie

• Canned chili or stew

• Mac and cheese 

• Canned veggies canned fruit

• Ramen cases

• Bread

• Milk

• Hot dogs

• Frozen Pizzas

How to Donate

Donating is easy! 

1. The day before your next lawn care application during our Grassroots Giving campaign, you will receive a text or email reminder about your next service. 

2. During our visit, simply leave any food items for donation outside your front door (preferably in a box or bag). 

3. Your Weed Man technician will collect all items while they are there to complete your service. 

4. All donations will benefit our friends at Tumbleweed Food Pantry!
